Villages of the Rhône Valley Six-And-A-Half-Pack Sampler
A great little journey through the Rhône Valley taking in seven villages (or, strictly speaking, appellations in the case of Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage) and seven producers. It weaves its way from Gilles Robin's Saint-Joseph in the hills above Tournon, all the way to La Barroche's Liberty at Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, south of its more famous namesake, Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
It's a journey of about 200km taking in some of the most picturesque and historic villages in all of France (the Roman influence is everywhere to be seen). A journey that would take at least a couple of days in a post-Covid world, but which you can do right here, right now, in a virtual sense, guided by the wines in this six-pack.
