Cognac Frapin

The Frapin family was established in the Cognac region in the year 1270 and today Cognac Frapin owns 240 hectares of vines in the very centre of the region, the famed Premier Cru of Grande Champagne. And it is this very 'Champagne chalk' terroir that brings the quality and depth of fruit that is apparent at every level of Cognac that they release. But it's not just the fruit that drives the quality of Frapin Cognacs, it's also about ageing. Frapin holds an average of 16 years worth of ageing Cognacs in its cellars, compared to the regional average of just 7 years. The result is that in each category the Frapin Cognacs are considerably older than their competitors, in most cases even old enough to be classified at the next level. Indeed, the quality of the entire range is simply eye opening and each cuvée shows stunning purity and depth. These Cognacs will change your perceptions of what fine Cognac is all about.
